Point Energetics of yang ming
The Stomach receives the qi of Heaven and provides the limitation and the space in its very centre for its life-giving power. The stomach has within a reference point of truth to guide the soul in its encounter with the world on its path of destiny and in its understanding of the true nature of the self. From this central still point of reference, we can perceive and experience what is and create a field for the meeting of yin and yang which can lead to transformation and an understanding of the true nature of self.
The Large Intestine roots the subtle qi of Heaven in the physical body. It is based on the concept of duality and the post-natal world while having a strong affinity to the pureness of the unity of Heaven. It contacts the essence of the self and defines the boundary between self and non-self, inside and outside, beneficial and non-beneficial with the clarity and determination that comes from being connected to the source. It enables the self to move forward on the path of destiny with strength and courage.
Together, these two energies combine to form the yang ming division, which presents our identity in life and its root in the essence of our being.
In this 3-day seminar, we will explore and discuss the philosophy underlying this subject and the energetics of the points of yang ming so we understand how and when we can use the points to help our patients to connect to their inner essence and guidance within to be in the world with a healthy identity. This often is a source inner and outer conflict that can lead to illness on many levels.
